Description We are currently in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a fundamental role in achieving financial objectives, ensuring efficient processing of receivables and collaborating with various internal and external clients. This is a contract to hire position located in Huntsville, AL.Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.

Generate and send out invoices, customer statements.

Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.

Regularly monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

Investigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or personally assist with customer inquiries on overdue accounts and further align on payment schedules.

Requirements

Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk or accountant, with a minimum of 1+ years.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.

High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
