General Summary: The Army Metering Program (AMP) Systems Analyst will maintain, and support AMP technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database and/or system software components. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): · Responsible for performing analysis on AMP system problems. · Responsible for working with AMP system users to define problem areas, data availability, report requirements, etc. · Responsible for defining AMP system objectives and for preparing system design specifications to meet user requirements. · Responsible for analyzing various ways to derive input data in order to select the most appropriate process. · Responsible for implementing AMP system design specifications. · May define input and output file specifications including file organization. · May be responsible for defining controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans. · Maintain, and support technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database and/or system software components. · Assist with the hardening of systems to conform with all applicable regulations from DoD and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This includes but is not limited to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG). · Provide Plans of Action with Milestones (POAM) as well as status updates and reports as requested. · Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies related to AMP · Conducts root cause investigations and provide recommendations for preventative measures regarding AMP. · Maintain existing standard operational procedure (SOP) documentation and drafting new SOPs and other documentation as necessary · Support Command’s Risk Mitigation Framework, Methodology, and execute the Command’s Risk Mitigation Framework using standardized designs related to AMP. · Continually reviews and analyzes current procedures in order to recommend and implement administrative policies and procedures to maintain best-practice operations. · Conduct analysis of completed cyber risk assessments to identify, develop, and recommend technical and operational solutions (material and non-material solutions) to mitigate, resolve, or remove risk. · Provide Program Management and life-cycle-cost/performance guidance, mentoring, and support to a variety of AMC industrial, facilities, and communications programs. Required SkillsRequired ExperienceRequired Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience. · Minimum of 8 years of work related experience. · Minimum SECRET Security Clearance. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings. Preferred Qualifications · Past Army/Government Civilian/Contractor Experience. · Knowledge of Cyber analytic tools (ACAS, SCAP, STIG Scanners).
