Description Job Description:Our client is the legal department for a corporation seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Attorney to manage the company's litigation matters. The role involves working collaboratively with outside counsel to work on a diverse range of issues stemming from various commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial litigation. Additional knowledge of construction defect would be highly advantageous.Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate all the firm's litigation matters and liaise with outside counsel.Provide legal and strategic business advice for a wide range of issues, including but not limited to litigation.Monitor, manage and mitigate legal risks in identified areas of concern.Advise and inform senior management about legal rights and obligations, including potential legal consequences.Understand and advise on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedent pertaining to commercial litigation.Foster relationships with outside counsel and other stakeholders to ensure efficient resource use and effective communication.Draft, review and manage the negotiations process of various legal documents and contracts.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A valid state license to practice law.Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial litigation in a mid to large sized law firm, or equivalent in-house experience.Preferable experience in construction defect.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Requirements Commercial Litigation, Complex Litigation, Construction Litigation, Litigation - Management, Civil Litigation Experience Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
