You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Business Unit Operational Risk Analyst works within a given line of business to help ensure the line of business operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and per the organization’s policy. The analyst works as part of the first line of defense team and alongside the first line, second line and enterprise support units to ensure the effective execution of the Operational Risk Framework across the assigned business line.Primary Responsibilities

Conducts compliance reviews and provides analysis of business units and processes

Maintains documentation and reports to management regarding compliance and potential issues

Provides requested information to management for reporting to agencies regarding Sarbanes Oxley, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance

Provides analysis of the execution of our operational risk management framework, including: risk and control self-assessments, new initiative risk assessments, operational risk/loss events, scenario analysis, emerging risk identification, and front line risk assessments

Analyzes compliance processes and reports to management, comparing current process with identified process and policy

Assists in the review of contracts, agreements and statements of work

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Five (5) years' experience in finance, risk or operations, with experience in the specific business line operations

Responsible for the daily and long-term governance and compliance of our IT Asset Management practice. This position applies an in depth understanding of software license models and IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices to monitor and support corporate compliance of software standards, licenses, T&Cs compliance, and optimization for all locations. This position participates in the software procurement request process and applies knowledge to analyze complex requirements and make recommendations for best fit licensure based on industry trends and roadmaps.Principal Duties & Accountabilities:

Analyze existing Software Asset Management (SAM) practice documentation and recommend process improvements as well as completes any related documentation updates.

Develop new documentation where necessary to support new HAM/SAM processes.

Ensure compliance to EOL policies and procedures and ensure organizational stakeholders and CI owners have visibility to asset class models/versions and are actioned.

Contribute to effective service delivery of software/hardware services in ServiceNow.

Mature and revise the Software Asset Management strategy to reflect business priorities and technology changes.

Proactively identify process improvements to ensure effective license management and usage ensuring optimal use of technologies and resources.

Monitors effective license positions and ensure adherence to vendor terms and conditions of use.

Identify and action opportunities for license reclamation and optimization.

Identify and action hardware & software EOL/EOS issues.

Leverage existing / new tools to automate the collection of software information (install & usage) to simplify current processes and provide more focused, exception reporting.

Ensure overall license compliance across all software titles in the Regions environment.

Review software license reporting with business representatives and assist in the overall understanding of the licensing model and allowed usage (as required).

Gather, organize, and analyze software usage trend data to determine maintenance/support requirements and coordinate with business lines to effectively determine strategy for acquisition/renewal of maintenance support program enrollments.

Develop and execute strategy related to negotiation of commercial terms and conditions as well as identify/mitigate risks associated with software/hardware agreements.

Lead external software audit activities including readiness assessment, vendor coordination, data analysis, remediation, and communication.
