Troubleshoots and repairs computer software, hardware, and network configurations. Provides technical and user support for PC components, mainframe networking, and LAN-based systems. May be internal or external client-focused.Scope: Applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a wide range of moderately difficult tasks. Problem Complexity: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Impact: Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules. LIAISON: Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interaction may involve exchange or presentation of factual information. Freedom To Act: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Leadership And Management: Knowledge/Skills And Ability: Having the knowledge and experience to be able to handle usual job events with minimal assistance. Typical Education And Experience: High school education or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience. Technical school desired. Customer service and personal interaction skills are paramount. Manage a ticket queue using Service Now and monitor schedule using Outlook.
