Electrical design of complete automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical software
Designs including power distribution, I/O controls, communications, and panel layout drawings
PLC and robot programming
Calculating panel SCCR, power rating, and FLA for panel rating
Directing electrical assembly during equipment build and installation
Configuring, debugging, and testing equipment on shop floor
Leading start-up projects from start-up to completion
Managing time and costs within budget and on schedule
Responding to unplanned downtime or breakdowns on machines
Troubleshooting equipment and system problems
Designing, fabricating, and installing mechanical and electronic equipment
Performing program changes
Planning, coordinating, and performing shutdown and major maintenance activities
Wiring and repairing electric motors
Maintaining and troubleshooting problems with AC drive systems and PLCs
Accessing and interpreting PLC logic via a laptop computer
Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment
Advising operators on operation procedures and safety requirements
Installing, starting up, and shutting down equipment
Performing lockouts or tag out as required
Soft Skills
Interacting with customers in design reviews and project updates
Leading and assisting in the planning and coordination of projects
Managing time and costs effectively
Advising operators and others on safety procedures
