You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Digital User Experience (UX) Manager drives the performance of a cross-functional team of design practitioners in a squad-based setting, ensuring that design concept, prototype integrity and quality extends to final, realized digital products. The UX Manager plays a critical role in how the UX team contributes to strategic business goals in collaboration with product management and technology team leaders, ensuring user needs are met and problems solved.They are very much a servant leader, shielding their squad from external distractions so they remain focused on Digital and enterprise priorities. At the same time, they act as part of the larger UX leadership group, overseeing not just delivery and resource allocation but also building a genuinely collaborative culture within both UX as well as product and technology partners.This leader actively drives design direction across all stages of product and software development at Regions. They do this by being a positive people leader who fosters a creative, enthusiastic squad environment where individuals can reach their full potential to both deliver quality design to our users and continuously advance and improve in our discipline.Primary Responsibilities

Orchestrates the work of a cross-functional user experience (UX) squad to deliver a unified design vision for highly complex customer-facing experiences

Aligns UX initiatives and maintains close oversight and governance of customer experience deliverables

Drives the adoption of user-centered design process improvements including supporting the latest component and pattern development of our design system, as applicable

Aligns the squad’s work with organization roadmaps, ensuring that design is engaged with, and ahead of, development

Applies expert knowledge and experience in human-centered design to direct successful teams through the design lifecycle

Builds collaborative design, technology, and product culture to efficiently implement design solutions that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed

Researches the latest trends in usability and collaboratively works with business and technology partners to make working prototypes of future-state customer experience

Engages stakeholders and fellow team members for design feedback and consensus on design decisions

Responsible for design staff management, including mentoring, performance development and recruitment, fostering a growth mindset and the development of design strategies, soft skills, and stakeholder management within your team

Lead regular design reviews, critiques, and ideation sessions for team members

Identifies opportunities to align design and user experiences across platforms and products

Builds relationships with business leaders, seeking out opportunities for team visibility and evangelization of UX

This position is exempt from time keeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Psychology, Communications, English, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field and seven (7) years of experience in spaces such as large customer-facing websites, designing systems or process structure for web and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms

Or High School Diploma/GED and eleven (11) years of experience with large customer-facing websites, designing systems and process structure for web and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms

Experience scoping and evaluating design deliverables and processes for online web applications and site features

Comprehensive understanding of technical issues, design functionality and cross browser testing

Preferences

Master’s degree in related field

Experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred

Supervisory/management experience

This UX Manager works in the Digital Sales & Enterprise vertical which includes Origination, Corporate Banking, and Enterprise Application UX.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
