Driver Recruiter

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who will serve as the initial point of contact for professional CDL-A drivers interested in joining our team. This role involves educating potential candidates about our company culture, equipment, routes, and career opportunities while guiding them through the hiring and onboarding process from the first call to orientation. No prior experience in recruiting or trucking is necessary; we’re prioritizing the right attitude, coachability, and a willingness to learn.Ideal Candidate Attributes:Passionate about engaging with people and fostering relationshipsConfident phone presence, comfortable with high call volumes including cold callsMotivated, coachable, and eager to acquire new skillsHighly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingBrings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic dailyExperience in high-volume sales and meeting minimum quotas is a must Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Recruit, screen, and onboard qualified CDL-A driversCommunicate with prospective drivers via phone, text, and emailSource driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, cold calling, and industry connectionsConduct pre-screen interviews to verify driver qualifications, experience, and availabilityEstablish and maintain strong relationships with prospective drivers, ensuring consistent follow-upGuide drivers through the entire hiring and onboarding processPerform initial background screening reportsCoordinate onboarding documentationAchieve and surpass weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruiting goalsCollaborate closely with recruiting, operations, and leadership teams to support our expansive, active fleetRepresent P&S Transportation with integrity, professionalism, and positivitySupport driver retention through effective communication and relationship-buildingSafety & Compliance Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all DOT/FMCSA, safety, and regulatory standards for both prospective and newly hired driversCoordinate and arrange necessary controlled substance testingCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)Uncapped commission and bonus incentivesHealth benefits after 60 daysPaid vacation and flexible PTOA supportive, team-oriented work environment with ample growth opportunitiesIf you’re ready to start building meaningful relationships, make a significant impact, and advance your career with a company that values teamwork and results, we’d love to hear from you.
