Oversee Fire Sprinkler Service for all types of facilities. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.Position is located in Mobile, Alabama.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems
Hydraulic Calculations
Sprinkler/Suppression project scheduling for labor and materials
Orders project materials and parts
Insures billing and invoicing is processed in a timely manner
Field Surveying
Understand listing of system piping for fabrication
Coordination for installation between trades
Managing costs and understanding budgets
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS
Prior fire sprinkler experience
Must be familiar with advanced troubleshooting techniques on existing fire pumps, dry systems, etc.
General mechanical knowledge
Experience in Fire Protection Installation and Service
Supervisory experience is required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Proficient computer skills
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
NICET certification preferred but not required
Must work in an efficient manner
Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines.
Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee manpower for quality control
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
