  • Provide day to day support services for employee technology resources (MS Office, Windows, and other related applications), ensuring a high-quality end-user experience.
  • Support Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment - build, deploy, maintain, and administer cloud devices and infrastructure.
  • Be willing to learn and implement new cloud technologies as they become available and as are applicable to the current cloud migration plan.
  • Support end-user desktops including, but not limited to, troubleshooting issues, implementing approved software, and removing older software.
  • Oversee and maintain the desktop environment ensuring desktops are kept current and laptops are properly maintained. This includes the proper issuance and maintenance of corporate devices.
  • Ensure the fulfillment of IT service requests including the request of new equipment, including, but not limited to, workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, and scanners.
  • Take an active role in the Incident Response and Problem Management processes, representing the desktop environment. Provide root cause analysis for problems and measures to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Manage trouble ticket queues; perform trend and root-cause analysis to resolve groups of trouble tickets; document efforts in the trouble ticket system.
  • Conduct and direct installation of personal computers successfully according to information systems protocol and standards for device image.
  • Maintain physical inventory of stock items and reorder as required.

Responsibilities

Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of Windows Client support and Microsoft Azure Administration
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems 2010 and Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019
  • Fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP)
  • Must be able to work with minimal oversight and possess abilities to communicate effectively through all levels within the organization working closely with project leads and other team members
  • Must be a US Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a college degree.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Secret Clearance preferred
