Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a HR Assistant Manager job opportunity located in McCalla, AL 35111 zip code.Pay rate: $27.00/HRShift: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm Length: 6 monthsPosition Summary:The Assistant Manager, Human Resources is responsible for supporting HR Generalist initiatives within a Distribution Center. This role works closely with the HR Director, HR AVP and Site Leadership to implement the local human resource and talent strategies.Job Duties:Provide support, advice and recommendations in all areas of Human Resources related programs and policiesWorks with management to advise on employee coaching strategies and coordinates performance improvement plans and other disciplinary programs as neededForges and cultivates partnerships with temp labor vendors, local universities and community agenciesLeads or participates in special projects and champions in-house cultural initiativesInitiates HRIS transactions ensuring date accuracy of HR transactions including new hires, terminations, job changes, salary modifications and other job-related actionsMaintains full cycle recruitment process to meet the various talent acquisition goals across all levels within multiple functional areasConducts recruitment and staffing logistics. Maintains accurate and timely job postings, conducts candidate screenings and manages sourcing efforts with assigned RecruiterResponsible for completion and accuracy of all new hire files and conducts audits as needed or directedAdministers and maintains new hire orientation and integration programsSupports employee payroll process for operationsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline3 years minimum relevant HR experienceHR certification with SHRM and/or HRCI preferredStrong communication skillsDemonstrated experience with multiple talent sourcing strategies for high-volume recruitmentUnderstanding of HR Systems, HR processes and administration to ensure compliance and reduce company exposureExceptional interpersonal skills with sensitivity to confidentialityStrong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, HRISKnowledge of state/federal laws, regulations and requirements related to Wage and Hour, Leaves of Absence, EEO, ADA, workers compensation and othersDetail oriented and high level of organizational skills requiredFlexible and adaptable to constantly changing business requirementsApply Today to be considered for this HR Assistant Manager job and any other positions with Adecco.Pay Details: $27.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
