Material Handler

Adecco is looking for a candidate to fill a Storeroom Attendant position in Huntsville, AL. The Storeroom Attendant is an integral part of our team, stationed at a customer's location to manage daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. This role ensures the storeroom remains professional, clean, and organized, while also maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service. Receiving and Stocking: Unload, receive, sort, label, and store incoming products, checking for damages and discrepancies.

Issuing and Record-Keeping: Issue products, maintain accurate records, enter data into systems, and document discrepancies.

Inventory Management: Replenish inventory, assist with inventory level maintenance, perform cycle counts, and prepare inventory reports.

General Duties: Ensure the storeroom is clean, organized, secure, and safe, and perform other related duties as requested.

Job Qualifications:

3+ months of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.

High school diploma/GED

Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents, basic computer proficiency, and basic mathematical skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a team environment, self-motivated, attention to detail, and safety-minded.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

May require protective equipment (shoes, gloves, eyewear).

Must pass forklift/warehouse equipment certifications.

Potential for overtime, including evenings and weekends.

Must handle physical inventory, lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing.

Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
