You will be supporting our A320 NEO aircraft technology. You will be working in a facility that has been transitioning to state-of-the-art equipment and advanced manufacturing processes. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of assemblers to build critical components that make flying possible and safe for you, your loved ones, and for travelers around the world.What you will do:
You will work Onsite at our Foley, AL Location
Help support the organization by determining new methods or procedures.
Mentor other Mechanical Assemblers with complex tasks
Work in a collaborative team environment making recommendations to help solve problems.
You will Obtain a Composite repair certification supporting bond repair
Assemble equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
Perform quality work checks, identify product defects and record identified defects.
Participate in compliance inspection continuous improvement (CI) activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Drill holes, install fasteners, rout and trim parts. and apply primers and sealants.
Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Able to work in a standing position up to minimum of 8 hours per day
Safely perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction / facilities experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 8 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction / facilities experience is required.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

2 or more years of Aerospace work experience is required.
2 or more years of Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
2 or more years of Experience with general hand and/or power Tools
1 or more years of Experience with Continuous Improvement Tools
Qualifications We Prefer:
Composite Repair Certified is preferred
Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, precision measuring equipment and light equipment.
leadership/management experience is preferred.
Experience with Lean, ACE or CORE manufacturing concepts
Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
AMQAS (Advanced Manufacturing Quality Assurance System) experience, if not will certify
Experience with ISO-9001 standards
