Network Engineer - HYBRID SECRET Clearance

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Network Engineer for a full time position in Huntsville, AL supporting an established DoD customer . This position is Hybrid requiring on one day a week onsite. Network Engineer responsibilities will include p roviding on premise and Cloud network engineering and design support for existing or new network architecture requirements, performing network troubleshooting to resolve complex network hardware and software problems and optimizing local area network performance. Additionally, the Network Engineer will perform daily monitoring of all network components, provide data usage reports monthly and configure, test, and manage firewalls, load balancers, traffic analyzers, network devices, or applications IAW the architecture/network design. SECRET Clearance required. s only can qualify.Requirements include : Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance 3-5 years' experience with Linux & Windows based platforms Achieved an Associate Degree or higher, with 7+ years of overall IT experience Current CompTIA Security + certification and a Technical Certification(s) EX: CCNA, SSCP or GSEC Working knowledge of networking concepts and technologies including LAN,WAN, TCP/IP and DNS Building, patching and securing servers in DoD on premise and hybrid Cloud environments Knowledge of Security technology Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities Interacting with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support and troubleshooting functions Availability to work night and weekend hours on occasion as requiredDesired Skills : Experience architecting AWS based solutions Experience automating scaling and capacity requirements within AWS environments Troubleshooting and resolving AWS environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc. Cloud Certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or other closely related discipline#DSA209#IND1#LI-AH1#LI-Hybrid
