Great opportunities.If you’d like the chance to make your mark with the world’s largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a Painter at United Rentals, you will be responsible for the preparation of various surfaces and the application of paints, enamels, stains, shellac, and varnishes or other finishes on equipment.What you'll do:

Apply paint and other finishes to surfaces using a variety of hand tools, such as brushes, paint rollers and sponges, as well as hand power tools, to complete work

Must utilize proper painting and finishing application procedures to assure quality of work

Remove old finishes and prepare surfaces for painting by repairing, sanding, patching and buffing

Mix paint and match colors for equipment

Work in compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of safety equipment

Responsible to keep all tools required to perform the job available and in good working order

Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

0- 2 years of experience

Basic computer skills

Attention to detail

Ability to multi-task in a busy environment

High sense of urgency with respect to customer service

Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
