Assemblers will research wire type, gauge, length, etc. to perform repair functions.Position Responsibilities:

In this position employees operate several computer programs that enable them to generate (MCD) Machine Control Data locating flat patterns on aluminum sheets. Assemblers will research wire type, gauge, length, etc. to perform repair functions.

Transferring (MCD) to machine operators for fabrication of production parts. Work from information (e.g., Electronic Mail, silver bullet orders (AOG) Airplane on Ground, (CP) Capacity Planners, shop requests).

Use a personal computer to access programs (e.g., (BON) Boeing online Network, (DCAC), Digital Control of Airplane Configuration, (MRM) Material Resource Management, (SMARTS), Sheet Metal Analysis Receival and Tracking System, (ERP) Enterprise Resource Plan) to generate (MCD).

Evaluate information obtained (e.g., size, part number, quantity, process to be performed) to group similar jobs in data to be generated.

Provide information to materials department (e.g., type of material, number of sheets, machine location,) for delivery of materials to be machined.

Use basic math to calculate dimensions (e.g., aluminum sheets, edge margins, tie down locations) used for best fit of machine capabilities, prior to release of (MCD).

Examine/check down loaded information into flat pattern layout for correct specifications (e.g., edge margin, tie down locations, material thickness) prior to release to shop.

Evaluate machine processes used to generate (MCD) to ensure data matches machine capabilities. Download data to machine operators for flat pattern work to be done on their machine.

Provide mylars of parts being machined to machine operators upon request.

Research/investigate problems with (MCD) interfacing with internal/external organizations (e.g., engineering, planning, suppliers) to provide clarification and/or additional information.

Handle, use and dispose of hazardous material in approved manner.

Eye and ear protection as required.

Good ergonomics is required to perform this work safely.

Using a keyboard primarily carpal tunnel is a concern.

Posture is important to prevent back strain.

Eye strain may occur from constant use of computer.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position meets Export controlled requirements and Requires a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15? “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+years of experience do you have using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint accurately and efficiently?

1+years of experience do you have using basic Math?

1+years of experience do you have with design patterns?

Typical Education:High school graduate or GED preferred.Relocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
