Production Engineer

Job Title: Production EngineerJob DescriptionWhat you’ll be doing:

Prepare and coordinate manufacturing equipment to support new model launches and unit plant competitiveness.

Develop process plans for production lines within the powertrain department with direct support from the Manager.

Mentor and directly support other engineers or technicians.

Lead cost planning, budget creation, machine specification, procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials, and launch of production lines.

Create and maintain detailed schedules and budgets for assigned areas.

Participate in cross-functional working groups across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals.

Engage in a mentor program to grow as an engineer and learn from others within the department.

Oversee construction and equipment installations.

Will travel 10-30% of the time.
