Description We are offering a contract position in the supply chain industry, specifically for a Production Scheduler role. Based in Montgomery, Illinois, United States, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, from raw material procurement to final product delivery. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire production scheduling process. Implement supply chain strategies to optimize production flow. Ensure the timely transformation of raw materials into finished products. Mitigate any production bottlenecks and ensure a smooth workflow. Monitor and manage inventory of unfinished bearings and prioritize their production. Coordinate with different departments to ensure a seamless flow of products from the production floor to clients. Utilize supply chain logistics knowledge to enhance production efficiency. Handle scanning and filing duties as part of maintaining accurate production records. Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues that may disrupt the production scheduleRequirements Applicant should have knowledge of Supply Chain Logistics. Understanding of Supply Chain Strategy is required. Experience in a production scheduling role is desired. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. Strong problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary. Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of production processes and procedures. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to interpret and analyze production data. Strong attention to detail is needed.
