If you are an ambitious self-starter and an effective project team leader, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our organization within our Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business. Based out of either Huntsville, AL or Courtland, AL, In this role you will be responsible for cost, schedule and technical execution for a suite of products throughout production and test. You will have the pleasure of indirectly leading a strong multi-disciplined team which support component manufacturing, disassembly, assembly capabilities within our Courtland, Alabama facility. This job requires extensive cross functional communication between the manufacturing floor, quality, engineering, procurement, program management, planning, and finance. You will be responsible for day-to-day improvement activities, mid to long range strategy, and ensuring production will be fit and ready to support our customers' needs. You will exhibit strengths in leadership, communication (both oral and written), and presentation/organizational skills by communicating with employees, managers, and customers maintaining sustainable working relationship.Summary of Key Duties for this Position: Understand budget allocation and drive cost performance across operations Drives planning and schedule execution across Operations Demonstrate technical understanding of product suite and drive design improvement initiatives Interface between Operations and Programs to ensure timely & accurate flow of information and requirementsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education 1-3 years of previous Production, Operations, Project Engineering, CAM, Proposal and/or IPT lead experience Familiarity with Earned Value Management concepts Familiarity with Risk & Opportunity ManagementDesired Skills: Ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment and handle complex assignments Direct / indirect leadership experience Quick learner with aptitude for various systems and processes Works effectively independent and as part of a team Fluent use of SAP, VE CAMS, MS Project, MS Excel Proposal and Estimating Experience Project Management experience Cost Account and Earned Value Management Effective communicator with Executive level management Aerospace Operations or Engineering experienceClearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
