Quality Control Manager to join our team! Individual will support the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) in selecting, educating, training, and commissioning college students to be officers and leaders of character in the Total Air and Space Force. Additionally, individual will assist in instilling the values of citizenship, national and community service, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in college students. Other duties include:- Assisting assigned Directorate and staff in all aspects of the AFROTC programs for cadets.
- Serving as a project team member/process improvement specialist for assigned AFROTC Directorate.
- Providing technical direction in project management, team building, facilitation, and process improvement suggestions required to develop and execute assigned AFROTC Directorate.
- Integrating and coordinating multiple and related missions, functions, subjects, issues, and situations across the AFROTC to present and recommend solutions in a logical, cohesive format.
- Must obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit Check (NACLC)
- Must possess a bachelor s degree
- Must be able to obtain and maintain driver s licenses
- Must possess knowledge of AFROTC structure and its supporting elements and programs, missions, policies, and goals
- Must have experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to a broad range of functional areas related to AFROTC
- Must have the skill to develop innovative and feasible solutions to complex issues associated with AFROTC Field Training
- This individual shall have been a Commissioned Officer with a minimum grade of Captain with 6 years of experience in the U.S. Air Force Active Component or 10 years total service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Component for former and current Reserve Commissioned Officers.
- The qualified candidate shall have been at a minimum a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) within the U.S. Air Force Active Component, or former or current NCO in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Component.
- Must have never received a discharge under less than honorable conditions and cannot have or had any negative administrative actions/offenses leading to UCMJ actions and no referral performance reports (evaluations).
- Must possess knowledge of pertinent laws (i.e. Title 9 U.S.C., and Title 10 U.S.C., etc.), regulations (i.e. DoD and Air Force Instructions), policies, and precedents that affect the AFROTC Training program
- Must show knowledge in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Position may require lifting and carrying, climbing stairs and walking long distances
- Previous AFROTC Field Training experience preferred.
