Date Posted:2023-02-27-08:00Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HAL02: Aerostructures-Foley 1300 West Fern Ave, Foley, AL, 36535 USAPosition Role Type:OnsiteCollins Aerospace is looking for a Sr. Manager Quality Compliance and Certification with strong knowledge on AS9100 and AS9110, who will execute the key elements of Quality Compliance operational plans and lead Quality compliance professionals. You will set tactical and operational plans for the achievement of short to medium-term Quality Compliance goals. In addition, you will drive change in the compliance processes to ensure continued Quality Compliance. Position will work in a hybrid capacity (onsite & offsite) near the Foley, AL site. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the Quality Compliance function within the Aerostructures (ASG) Business Unit.
Provide guidance on, and explanations of, policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.
Manage the ASG Level Quality Procedures (EEP's) and Foley Work Instructions.
Manage the Controlled Forms Management function (Document and Records Control activities)
Manage the Quality Audit program
Manage the Quality Training program for the Foley site.
Oversight of the AS9100/AS9110 and Nadcap certifications of the Foley ASG business
Oversight of special processes for the Foley site.
Manage the Corrective Action System and CAB processes.
Manage reviews of procedures and metrics that impact quality throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Experience working in a quality environment within manufacturing.
Experience with managing a team of individuals without direct reporting responsibility
Experience with AS9100 certified Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to communicate and make presentations to internal/external senior and executive level leadership.
Able to manage multiple projects & deliverables simultaneously.
MS Office experience, PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with databases such as Tableau, EtQ
Experience with SharePoint and/or Teams administration
Aerospace Industry experience
Experience with SAP
AS9100/AS9110 certification
NADCAP certification experience
