Cimarron is seeking a mid-level and senior-level

Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the Missile Defense Agency's System Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) contract in Huntsville, AL. SITR is responsible for the overall Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element engineering and integration, including physical and logical integration of the GMD Element and Components with the Missile Defense System.

  • Clearance: Active Secret OR Interim Secret Clearance

Job Description:
  • Support the GMD Element Assessments, including the development, maintenance, and delivery the of Capability and Limitation Reports, Technical Performance Measures in the GMD Element Digital Model, Threat Assessment Reports, Lethality Analysis Reports, and Early Testing and Prototyping Reports.
  • Complete planning and execution of all necessary testing to verify overall requirements and compliance.
  • Apply statistics and applied mathematic skills to provide analysis-informing reports

Requires Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Active or Interim Secret clearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to provide backup to other teammates, when needed.
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited school in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry) and 5 or more years of experience, or Master of Science and 3 or more years of experience, or Ph.D.

Additional Requirements for Senior-Level: Bachelor of Science from an accredited school in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry) and 10 or more years of experience, or Master of Science and 7 or more years of experience, or Ph.D. and 4 or more years of experience.
