This sub-task is in direct support of the M2M Modeling, Architecture, V&V, Requirements, Interfaces & Conops (MAVRIC) team.Responsibilities: Development of and support to the MAVRIC products, tasks, activities, and risk management protocol. Coordination and planning review of supporting systems engineering and integration tasks for the design, development, manufacturing, hardware assembly and analysis of test article subsystems. Develop, maintain, and integrate verification and validation (V&V) documentation throughout the planning lifecycle tracking and controlling compliance data and status from draft to baseline. Perform integration across multiple disciplines, organizations, and systems; support the processing and approval of verification closures.A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Physics or equivalent from an ABET accredited institution with significant experience in Systems Engineering/Systems Management. 15+ years of experience is needed. An Engineer who is pro-active, a good communicator, is organized, and skilled with Microsoft products. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. SE&I experience working with the development of launch vehicles and large-scale programs producing cross-program SE&I activities, technical assessments, and products is desired. Previous experience working with the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Exploration Systems Division/Cross Systems Integration is desired.Essential FunctionsWork Environment:Office and laboratory environment.
