This position develops, implements, and administers therapy programs to determine medical necessity of services including appeals and/or reconsiderations to assure optimization of benefit utilization regarding medical services.Contract Duration: 4 MonthsRequired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree

Current licensure by the State of Alabama as a Registered Physical Therapist

Five years of clinical experience involving Preferred Physical Therapy Network (PT), Certified Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC/SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Chiropractic services

Experience in a position demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills

Experience in a position analyzing a clinical situation and making informed decisions in an autonomous setting

Thorough understanding of the practice of physical medicine

Possess good knowledge of disease processes and medical practices
