Waste Tracking Specialist

Overview/General Summary:Tracks materials received at treatment plant in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local hazardous waste regulations and in accordance with our policies, practices and procedures.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Identifies materials received and completes appropriate paperworkEnters data on computerized tracking database.  Identifies all incoming waste streams at treatment plantIntegrates information with manifests, process forms, check-in sheets, and customer profilesEnters all system required waste tracking information into databaseRecord customer information to ensure compliance with program objectivesMaintains computer files, logbooks and other files and recordsPrepares necessary manifest and land disposal restriction forms and maintains associated filing systemsCreates and edits reports, including incoming and outgoing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reportsProvides clerical support including reception duties, phone coverage, word processing, office supply inventory, computer user support and mail distributionPerforms other duties as required
