- Install, move, and configure PC hardware, software, and peripherals in accordance with established procedures and configurations
- Execute timely equipment lease returns/refreshes
- Work service tickets to completion in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the customer
- Troubleshoot and resolve workstation/client technical issues
- Execute special projects as they arise
- Accomplishes all assigned job functions in a manner that optimizes departmental effectiveness while maintaining confidentiality
- Entry level certification for Microsoft, networks, or an Associate’s degree in an IT related field
- 2 years of experience supporting PC hardware and software
- Willingness to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Working knowledge of current operating systems and office productivity suites
- Experience repairing PC hardware
- Logical reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience translating technical knowledge for another person's understanding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Desktop Management tools (examples: Altiris, Microsoft System Center)
- Scripting and automation experience
- Experience supporting an environment of 100+ users
- Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field (preferred)
