Who We Are Seeking: We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to join our team! In this role, you will provide general administrative and office support to both the Administration and Accounting Departments. Your work will directly contribute to achieving CVTC’s mission of "helping our citizens and community thrive." While you will have specific tasks assigned, this position also requires flexibility and the ability to work autonomously, as priorities may shift from day to day. If you are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, we’d love to have you on our team!

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

A minimum of 6 months of office and customer service experience

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, establish and maintain cooperative relationships, and work successfully as a member of a team.

Strong time management, problem-solving and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet sometimes competing deadlines.

Superb verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient typing skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software.

Basic knowledge of office equipment such as Xerox machines, shredders, and multi-line phone systems.

Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.

Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
