Care Provider for Assisted Living Home

Currently seeking compassionate, dependable, caring, and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals to join our loving team. We are a privately owned assisted living home located in Anchorage. Offering full time support and a caring living environment for clients with intellectual and physical disabilities. These are physically demanding positions and may require a fit for duty test if applicant has any pre existing injuries. There are 2 day shifts available and 2 night shifts. We would also be able to accommodate couples looking for a live in situation as well. Aside from day to day tasks, the day shift will assist client and staff while off site for scheduled appointments and activities. Actual schedule to be determined at time of interview. This will be a rotational work schedule providing 24/7 care, including weekends and holidays. These are all hourly positions, rate to be determined DOE. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

- Daily paperwork required by the State of ALASKA

- Meal preparation and feeding assistance

- Light housekeeping

- Assisting with the self-administration of medications

- Supporting individuals with ADL's, including transportation (vehicle provided)

- Escorting Clients to their Day Habilitation and Appointments

- Provides assistance when needed for bathing and restroom use

- Supporting balance and mobility as needed using HOYER lift

MINIMUM Requirements:

- Required documents to work in USA

- 2 yrs prior experience in this field or similar

- CPR/ First Aid Certification (must present at interview)

- Negative TB Test Results (must present at interview)

- Able to pass a background check (cost is paid by employee)

- 3 professional references, not personal

- Current Drivers License with Clean Driving Record
