Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic Needed for Remote Contract Work

Seeking a certified heavy equipment mechanic for contract work in remote interior Alaska.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful off-road village accessible only by plane.

Scope of Work:

Travel to the community from Fairbanks in June 2025

Diagnose and repair four pieces of equipment:

Excavator

Grader

Bobcat

Skid Steer

Leave the village to source and return with necessary parts

Complete all repairs on-site

Requirements:

Must be a certified heavy equipment mechanic

Must be able to work independently in a remote setting

Must provide your own tools and arrange for travel logistics

This is a paid contract opportunity.
