RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Anchorage, AK that is seeking a Database Administrator.
Responsibilities: The Database Administrator will lead and contribute to design discussions in a cross-functional project setting Develop database standards, guidelines and best practices Design and architect solutions which often require complex system integration Perform capacity planning and project estimation As a Database Administrator, you will evaluate and research new database features, version and technologies Direct and control activities for a client and ensure technical requirements are met Interact in client negotiations and interface with senior management Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments The Database Administrator establishes goals and plans that meet project objectivesREQUIREMENTS: Experience in definition and management of database requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation Has domain and expert technical knowledge Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple taskKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
