Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Provide comprehensive medical care within an established remote clinical environment supporting personnel at Eareckson Air Station. This role combines emergency response, primary care, chronic disease management, and medical leadership within a professionally managed healthcare setting where clinical decision-making, care coordination, and operational continuity are essential to patient outcomes.

This position is best suited for clinicians comfortable practicing with a high degree of autonomy in a remote Alaska environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide acute, urgent, and emergency medical care within an independently operated remote clinic environmentRespond to medical emergencies and stabilize patients until evacuation or higher-level care is availableCoordinate and manage medical evacuations, including communication and care coordination activitiesSupport diagnostic and treatment services through telemedicine, teleradiology collaboration, and basic X-ray interpretationMaintain clinical oversight activities including medical documentation, infection control standards, patient safety practices, and healthcare readinessSupervise medical staff workflows and support coordinated healthcare delivery across the siteMaintain clinic equipment, medications, and medical supplies to support continuous patient care delivery in collaboration with clinical and administrative partnersEnsure accurate medical record documentation and regulatory compliance in accordance with federal healthcare standards
