Expediter

Dewey’s Cook Inlet has been doing business in Alaska for 50+ years and is the leader in Marine & Yamaha outboard sales. We take pride in being able to help people get on the water, and are looking to hire an Expediter to join our team and help accomplish this.

We are currently looking to hire an Expediter. This position is typically seasonal, April thru September which is a great opportunity for students and teachers! Full-time, year-round employment is also possible with the right skillset.

Duties include: loading and delivering large marine products such as outboard motors, boats, and boat trailers. Pulling parts and accessories, from inventory and keeping track of all items on the sales orders. Must be capable of labor duties, and able to lift up to 70lbs, regularly going up and down stairs, and working in outside conditions. Need to be able to enter and record data for all deliveries on the computer. Will need to have pleasant communication skills with customers. Will be required to call customers and relay details of their deliveries to them after every delivery. Must be able to multi task and take direction from multiple employees.

Successful applicants are reliable, at work on time, and have the ability to work well with others.

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND MUST QUALIFY TO BE ON EMPLOYERS VEHICLE INSURANCE

During summer months, overtime may be required due to high workload.

Pay starts at $16 per hour.
