Gold Creek Salmon Bake - Bartender

Tending bar the Gold Strike Saloon allows you to be one of the first team members guest meet as they arrive and introduce them to the Salmon Bake Experience. Along with processing food and beverage sales, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Engage with guests, answer questions, provide information about our menu, activities, etc

Opening and closing cash drawer till, handling cash and credit card POS transactions, redeeming vouchers and coupons

Pouring tap beer and wine

Maintain inventory and stocking alcohol and related products

Perform bus greeting duties, and communicate with dispatch and bus drivers regarding arrivals and departures (if necessary)

Setting up and closing of bar area

Be ready to stand for long periods of time, and comfortable working in an outdoor environment with inclement weather (rain, wind, etc)

Provide assistance with other duties for outside dining areas

Closely follow all rules and policies regarding uniforms and grooming

Must obtain Alaska Food Handler’s card and Alaska TAM certification
