Groundsman/ Laborer

Gage Tree Service is looking for a hardworking and motivated Crew Member to join our team as we transition from winter to spring services. This position is physically demanding and primarily involves working as a groundsman on a tree crew, assisting with tree removal, cleanup, and seasonal services. Tree work is exciting, dynamic work that takes place in a high energy environment.

This position will work in the Anchorage and Mat Su Valley area. It is full-time, year-round.

Responsibilities:

Assist with tree removal operations, including cleanup, brush chipping, and stump grinding

Operate chainsaws and other equipment safely and efficiently

Perform snow blowing and shoveling on snow routes if/when winter weather returns.

Help with Christmas light removal from residential and commercial properties – lots of ladder work.

Work in all weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency

Qualifications (Preferred):

Chainsaw experience

Ladder work experience

Current and valid driver’s license

Current and valid personal vehicle insurance

Reliable transportation

Hardworking, committed, and able to work in all types of weather
