Heavy Equipment Operator for Anchorage Commercial Sites

Looking for a highly experienced Dozer operator D3- D6, 4way/6way. Must be skilled with the machine, but also understand dirt/excavation strategies, material evaluation, compaction, trench safety, working alongside dewatering, grading and elevations etc. You will also need to occasionally jump in various other machines (excavator/loader/compactor/skid etc.).

Primary tasks will be fill and grade, foundation excavations and utilities work to 18' deep.

Sub skills:

- Heavy equipment operations (preventative maintenance, checking/reading grade, trenching, excavation)

-Civil construction tasks, manholes, trench boxes, utilities, right of way work, traffic control

- Pipe laying/fitting (pvc, abs, pex, iron)

- Safety/ risk

Candidates must have/ be able to:

- Possess a valid driver’s license

- Have reliable transportation

- Lift 50lbs, repeatedly

- Be of good character and attitude

- Follow directions, and add value to the team

- Be on time

- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Team oriented

- Self disciplined

- Posses basic safety equipment (safety toe boots, gloves, eye protection)
