Product Manager, Interoperability at SomatusRemoteDescriptionWe are actively recruiting aProduct Manager, Interoperability, for the Product team.This rolewill be focused onidentifying and integrating health data into our digital experiences to improve the lives of our members. We are looking for a candidate who has strong experience asa Product Manager, Interoperability and has delivered data features to both internal and external users. This person must have the ability to understand the market, user centered design, and how to translate feedback into effective designs.This position is a remote position with the option to work out of our headquarters office in McLean, Virginia and will report to the VP, Product, and Innovation.Responsibilities:Drive product vision, plan short term and long-term roadmap, and be accountable for delivery

Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with healthcare data providers

Link these partners and related data to value added features within Somatus’s digital portfolio

Collaborate closely with program development to understand how product / technology can support strategic goals and initiatives

Assist in defining the product roadmap and breaking down roadmap into epics, features, and user stories / acceptance criteria

Ability to prioritize backlog by making trade-off decisions, balancing user delight, time to market, and business goals

Responsible for identifying and managing dependencies and thinking about all aspects of the product, from defining business problems to implementation

Develops release notes, product presentations, training, and communication materials

Define metrics for product success and track performance

Utilize workflow and data tools represent data and processes, such as business process modeling, process flow modeling

Assist in triaging and troubleshooting application issues

Contributes to a strong product culture of continuous development and rapid iteration

Qualifications:Required:6+ years of product management experience, preferably with 4+ years owning all or part of a data platform

Solid technical background including proficiency with SQL

Consistent record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and external parties

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with clinical data transport standards (e.g., FHIR), content standards (e.g., CCD, HL7) and terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED, RxNorm, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, etc.) strongly preferred

Preferred:Ability to be both a strategic and tactical change agent in the renal space

Self-starter who will take initiative and be proactive when there are multiple priorities

Strategic solution-seeker who sees opportunities when others see barriers

Experience working with vulnerable patient populations (ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease), pediatrics, geriatrics, minorities, low income, uninsured, etc.)

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
