High pay position. Commission based pay. This is a year-round position, not seasonal.

This is your first job….

The TEAM at the award winning Jimmie Jack Fishing Company is looking for a Salesperson with experience.

This is a small but quickly growing department. The candidate selected will play a key part in the success of the office organization and sales of our Alaska Fishing Lodge Packages here at Jimmie Jack Fishing. This person will help sell our Lodge Packages and Day Charters, while giving guest support as needed.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Has enough professional sales experience that they don’t wonder if they have

enough experience to apply

Extremely organized and detail oriented

Multi-tasks so well that plate spinners look on with awe

Ability to keep files organized

Has great phone etiquette

Knows how to greet people with eye-contact

Gets upset when excuses are given

Smiles naturally

Will work as a team player

Can get a list DONE with a “can-do’ attitude FAST

Sets a goal then takes action to conquer it

Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get

something done

Enjoys learning, growing, and being stretched

Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves

Knows how to work a PC and Mac

Can get around with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point)

Is able to use Jedi mind tricks so Excel does all sorts of cool things Microsoft

never intended!

Is a naturally gifted communicator

Works hard but also like to have F.U.N. while getting things done!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

People with the purpose to impart joy to others with every interaction. Guests are here to have a great time, and we show it to them with a smile!

Broad knowledge of phone systems, CRMs, email marketing, following scripts, and using calendar software. If troubleshooting computer problems drives you crazy, please do not apply.

Experience in writing and composing marketing emails that stand out.

Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues. Understand that quickly means QUICKLY—

you won’t have time to google it!

Eat pressure and high-intensity situations for breakfast.

Ability to work within a team atmosphere. At no point will you be allowed to be a

Lone Ranger.

Someone who can learn fast and understand what we do will excel.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING HERE?

Work with alone and with some supervision to follow a proven sales system.

You will be wearing a headset and educating potential guests on our products.

Be able to do necessary paperwork. We have details paperwork that will be filled out after a booking. We all have to do ’em; make sure you can do them accurately.

Of course, actually talk on the phone and SELL! You will be winning at selling our Alaska Fishing Packages!

You will be keeping track of a very detailed matrix of scheduling on a daily basis.
