NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Systems Engineer – Patch Management, is responsible for providing architecture, engineering, and delivery support to Technology Workplace Products Endpoint Security team, specifically focused on OS updates, patch management, and vulnerability management. Partners with business, technology leaders, architects, and other engineers across other disciplines to engineer systems as well as the systems that deliver those systems.This role will perform research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of systems to meet current and future requirements. This role engineers these systems to ensure that Marriott's services have the necessary resiliency and uptime appropriate to user needs while being able to deliver a fast rate of change, functional and non-functional improvements. Provides solutions that serve our business leveraging current and leading-edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:
7+ years experience in information technology with technical skills:
5+ years experience with designing and implementing patch management for Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows devices.
3+ years experience designing and implementing endpoint management software (ex. Intune, Workspace One, BigFix)
3+ years experience with designing endpoint solutions that support CIS/NIST standards.
Technical infrastructure operations, administration, or engineering background.
Additional Preferred Experiences:
Demonstrated experience providing technical oversight of third-party resources and vendors.
5+ years experience with vulnerability management in a global settings.
3+ years experience with integrating with PowerBI, ServiceNow, and SIEM technologies.
Experience with Design Thinking
Experience with SAFE Agile
Excellent communication/reporting skills and problem-solving ability.
Excellent technical knowledge of current & emerging infrastructure systems & standards.
Strong knowledge of the best available tools, software, applications, and systems for attaining best-in-class IT technology across the enterprise.
Excellent understanding of change management and testing requirements, techniques, and tools.
Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate (to project team, IT management, and non-technical staff).

Provides technical leadership, oversight, governance and direction for contractors and managed service providers related to Marriott solution delivery
Documents solutions and performs knowledge transfer via designs, build documents, and run guides to external service providers. Creates and drives development of process and system documentation.
Translates and defines Continental IT, Global Information Systems, and Business Partners requests into new features, enhancements, or modifications.
Conducts reviews of patch and vulnerability management to review effectiveness, potential gaps, and documents improvement opportunities
Advocates for any needed policy / engineering enhancements.
Provides technical expertise to project team for successful project and change implementations
Determines customer requirements and works with sourced resources to develop solutions
Participates in the evaluation and selection of technology products.
Institutes best practices & ensures proper alignment to projects & major initiatives.
Leads analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement.
Leads analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine the potential impact on existing and planned architectures

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $167,300 annually.
