Develops plan and sequence of operations.
Installs insulated and non insulated wall panels and trim packages.
Layout and installation of Overhead and mandoors to include required hardware
Locates and marks bending and cutting lines for fabrication of sheetmetal pieces.
Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses.
Ability to work with power tools and follow site guidelines regarding safety.
Designs and constructs templates
Verifies conformance of projects to specifications.
Maintains material and inventory.
Assemble and fit parts using power and hand tools.
Frequently operate on scaffolding and out of aerial lifts.
Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements§High School Diploma or GED equivalent or two (2) years related experience will be considered.§Minimum two (2) years directly related fabrication experience.§Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
