Student Intern (Civil or Structural Engineering)

RESPEC seeks a Student Intern (Civil or Structural Engineering) for our Summer Internship 2027 program in our Juneau, Alaska office. This is a temporary part-time position. The paid internship program is approximately 12 weeks and runs from May – August 2027.This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience with a growing North American engineering consulting firm. This internship position will work alongside our firm’s full-time employees to learn how professional services are provided to our clients. Our experienced staff will provide mentoring and coaching to our interns to allow development of civil engineering skills and knowledge. Interns will get exposed to our clients, job sites, laboratory, communities, as well as collaborating with our RESPEC multi-discipline teams on public and private sector clients.Additional responsibilities include:Assist with design workPerform calculations and simulationsResearch topics as assignedAssist with field inspectionsAssist with laboratory testing
