Summer Camp Counselor at Calypso Farm! Ages 16+

Apply now to join the educational team at Calypso Farm this summer as a Camp Counselor!

This fun, outdoor job will give you an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, learn techniques for working with kids, and learn all about (and practice!) principles of hands-on, place-based education while working at Calypso's youth summer camps.

You will receive training on working with youth, hands-on education, farming and boreal forest ecology, and more. Based on need and availability, there may also be the opportunity to work with Calypso's field trips and other farm-based education programs.

Dates: Training (required) on May 21-24. Then, camp sessions and other farm-based educational programs start June 10 and go through mid-August.

Hours: Camp Counselors will work up to 40 hours per week for at least 2 week-long camp sessions, with additional hours for planning and prep for those sessions. There may be a possibility to work more camp sessions as well as field trips and other farm-based educational programming, depending on scheduling.

Compensation: $15/hour
