Wanted: Experienced In-Home Caregiver for elderly female, W2, Day

WANTED: Experienced In-home caregiver, private W2 hire, Wasilla. Looking to fill 2 day shifts 8a-4p: one weekend day and one other day. There may be some schedule flexibility.

Elder Client: She has arthritic hands so she needs lots of help, but she can still walk around the house with a walker and get out of certain chairs on her own. She's had falls, is forgetful, gets confused, and has exhibited some dementia behaviors. She's healthy for her age and is a non-smoker.

Her Caregiver schedule: We have an 8a-4p day shift and 9p-8a night shift. We anticipate eventually going to a 24-hr schedule.

Caregiver candidate: Must have experience caregiving in a home setting and working with dementia clients. The ideal candidate is female, kind, gentle, upbeat, patient, dependable, enjoys meal planning and cooking. Non-smoker. Must provide work history and references. Must pass rigorous background checks.

Services needed include light housekeeping; assistance with bathing, dressing, hygiene, transfers, meal preparation, and companionship.

Hours: Day shift for 2 days 8a-4p: one weekend day and one other day. Able to fill in other days or nights is a plus.

W2 employment with PTO. Hourly rate $20-$30, DOE
