Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role primarily involves providing tax and accounting services within a diverse range of clientele. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values expertise, innovation, and integrity, delivering comprehensive solutions that consistently exceed client expectations. Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive tax services including the preparation of tax returns for Individuals, S Corps (1120-S), C Corps (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Fiduciary Perform accounting and bookkeeping support for a diverse client base, this includes data entry, account reconciliations, and making necessary adjustments Conduct tax research and analysis on various topics as directed by the management team Implement tax planning, projections, and strategies for both business and individual clients Maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills Exhibit independent, self-motivated work ethic with the ability to remain focused without direct oversight Leverage knowledge of various Accounting Software Systems such as Quickbooks Desktop and Online, ADP - Financial Services, Cl Programming, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and others Execute accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Balance Sheet Account, Tax Preparation, and others as required Demonstrate reliability and teamwork, being open to instruction and coaching. Requirements Proven experience in Accounting Functions Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of Cl Programming Experience with Concur Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Tax Preparer roles Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem-solving skills High level of integrity and dependability Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
