Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team situated in Scottsdale, Arizona, 85255, United States. The role will involve overseeing the performance of our financial reporting team, strategic financial planning, and managing our finance operations, among other duties. Responsibilities: Oversee the overall performance of the financial reporting team, including timecard management and performance evaluations Assist with the creation and implementation of long-term and short-term strategic financial plans and projects Manage finance operations, reporting and compliance functions Analyze and articulate financial performance and results to key stakeholders Collaborate with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and a regular schedule for financial reporting and analysis Assess and develop internal controls, policies, and procedures Lead month-end close activities, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to assist senior leadership with financial analysis Collaborate with department leadership to maintain and improve financial processes for month-end close Develop reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that encourage meaningful discussions Support corporate finance on various projects and initiatives as needed Assist and lead other departmental tasks and projects as needed. Skills required include accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, and billing functions.Requirements Demonstrable expertise in Accounting Functions Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Auditing tasks Ability to manage Billing Functions Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven leadership and management skills Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
