Description We are offering a position in Phoenix, Arizona, for an Accounting Clerk with a focus on credit-related responsibilities. This role is within the telecom industry and functions in a standard office environment. We're offering a short-term contract for this role, providing an opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to our team.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to ensure all accounts are in good standing Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, adhering to all legal and company guidelines Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to manage and track all credit related transactions Use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT software for managing and maintaining customer credit information Apply revenue accounting principles to accurately record and report credit-related financial transactions Implement cash management strategies to optimize company resources and ensure accurate accounting. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and management Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT software Expertise in Cash Management processes and techniques Familiarity with Revenue Accounting principles and practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role is desirable.
