As an Advanced Systems Engineer - Propulsion Turbine Engine Control here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the development of propulsion turbine engine control design features and requirements. You will contribute to requirements-based engineering activities, best practices, and processes, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality control systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing control system design features and requirements, ensuring they meet or exceed customer needs. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, efficiency, and safety of propulsion turbine engines.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement control system design features and requirements for propulsion turbine engines. Contribute to requirements-based engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with experts, technical leads, and chief engineers to develop innovative technical solutions. Participate in trade studies and optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of control systems. Utilize disciplined engineering processes and methodologies for requirements analysis, decomposition, validation, and verification. Coordinate and communicate effectively with supplier engineering teams, systems engineering teams, project management organizations, and internal/external customers. We are currently searching for candidates for a future opportunity as an Advanced Systems Engineer with Honeywell. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles, with a focus on propulsion turbine engine control. Strong understanding of control system design principles and requirements engineering.WE VALUE Advanced knowledge of propulsion turbine engine control systems and associated technologies. Experience with industry standards and regulations related to propulsion turbine engine control. Proficiency in using engineering tools and software for control system design and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze and incorporate new information. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
