Description We're on the lookout for an organized and meticulous individual to fill the role of Patient Care Coordinator. The Patient Care Coordinator position entails efficiently registering and pre-registering patients, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, processing payments, and delivering top-notch customer service. The Patient Care Coordinator opening is an onsite role in Chandler, AZ with one of our prestigious Fortune 500 healthcare clients.Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient registrations and pre-registrations following established protocols.
Confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations accurately and promptly.
Update patient demographics in the system as needed.
Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles from patients as required.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of recent medical office experience
Thorough understanding of insurance providers, including HMOs, PPOs, and government payers.
Proficiency in typing at least 45 words per minute and 10 key by touch.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a healthcare or similar environment.
