This position assists the CNO with staffing, budgeting, patient, employee and physician satisfaction, monitors volume and provides education/coaching to staff in regard to hospital policies, procedures and training of new processes and equipment. Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.Maintains quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act. TJC and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures.Assists the CNO with clinical performance improvement projects; assists with planning and coordination of new or enhanced clinical services.Assist the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in providing leadership to nursing staff that will enroll their support, create ownership of goals, and have them actively participate in decisions that impact the hospital.

Masters Degree in Nursing or other Related field, from an accredited institution. Will consider Candidates currently enrolled in Masters Program.

Minimum 5 years RN experience; Must possess detailed knowledge of hospital nursing operations; Management experience required, prefer 2 years of demonstrated successful leadership in an acute-care hospital environment (For-profit experience preferred).
