Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, Vertical Lift Division is seeking an Associate Product Review Engineer (Level 2) to join our Production Engineering Product Review team in Mesa, AZ . Our team creates the next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. Our Production Engineering Product Review Engineering team provides support throughout the Mesa site including the AH-64 Apache Final Assembly and Flight Test as well as for various Boeing Defense products such as F-15 Eagle, F-18 Super Hornet and other platforms. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to interact with manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, and design engineering to apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle daily. This position will focus on manufacturing support for Boeing Defense, Space & Security portfolio of products.Boeing Vertical Lift products support the vital missions of defense forces around the world and provide protection and relief in a constantly changing geopolitical environment. Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production and/or for technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.

Analyzes, conducts failure analysis, root cause analysis and troubleshoots to understand root cause. Provides assistance to identify solutions.

Provides written dispositions for routine design non-conformances.

Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety and product/process improvements.

Develops routine customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Ensures supplier and build partner comply with Boeing standards.

Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.

Recommends simple non-destructive test procedures, tools, standards.

Conducts simple static strength analysis to validate interim design repairs meet original design loads criteria.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Bachelor of science from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

1+ years MRB Certification

Manufacturing / Aerospace Manufacturing experience

Military Civilian Aircraft (Maintenance/Field Support) experience

Typical Education/Experience:Level 2Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
