Hi, We are looking for BIG DATA Engineer Remote to start prefers onsite in Phoenix, AZ in Feb. Position: BIG DATA Engineer Location: 100% Remote prefers onsite in Phoenix, AZ in Feb. Duration: 12 Months Openings: 9 Must Haves: Spark or any other BigData technology Experience with migrating BigData to the cloud (any cloud is fine) Python or Java Responsibilities: Architect, design, develop and maintain enterprise capabilities and systems. Developing prototypes utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts. Collaborate with team/s in agile environment on creating, evolving, and maintaining engineering excellence principles related to Code, Code reviews, Testing methodologies (Unit, Integration etc.,) and defect management Seeks continuous improvement by considering solutions that make novel use of existing ideas, approaches, technologies, or products. Works closely with product owners on blueprints and annual planning of feature sets that impact multiple platforms and products. Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues. Qualifications/Must Haves: 4+ years of experience of software development Must have 2+ years of cloud experience Thorough understanding and hands-on Bigdata technologies- Spark preferred. Hands on experience with cloud principles and technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Dockerization, Kubernetes, Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Dataproc) Good understanding of different data models (Relational, Graph, Document etc.,) Coding language- Java preferred Nice to Haves: Opensource contributions Experience in data pipeline tools like Airflow, Nifi etc. BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines.
